| | split | ] | Well so much for sleeping until one weekend. :)
It all started out as grumpiness, as I went to my geometry lesson. It was damn hot in paranaque, and when we got home ( my sister and I that is) it turned we didn't have a ride back to Alabang. So then we decided to ride those jeeps that go all the way to Zapote. (Like ikot toki but it all goes in the same direction.)
When we got in, the heavens (yakkkk.) literally bawling their eyes out. This mad me feel bad, because sadly we didn't bring an umbrella. My mother told us that the last stop would be Alabang. So thinking everything was ok , the jeep suddenly stopped in Bacoor. (Yes we went all the way to Bacoor) And also good thing the rain stopped. We asked the driver where's the next jeep to alabang he pointed to another jeep which was about to leave. Since no one was on board we got to sit in the front. It was new experience for me.
While half of me was getting wet, I realized what the other "class" had for jobs. It was sickening. I didn't know what i could do. (hahaha a very big nice EMOtional moment right there.)
And When we finally got off, the the rain was thunderrrrrrriiinnnnnggg down onto us. And it seemed as if our house was million blocks away.
I could say, I'm so lucky to walk in the rain. But then i felt embarased because one, People on passing trucks were wooting at us. (Die in hells schorching flames!!!) Two it was cold, and apparently I was shivering to the bone. Three I silently cursed myself for being so idiotic not to bring an umbrella.
A few people who were under the banks were telling us to get under the roof. I was annoyed at the time because I really wanted a hot bath. Sped up, My sister caught up with me much later telling me that we should've stayed because they would've lended us an umbrella.
(Score for the idiot here.)
When we got to our house, I was sniffling AND my clothes were dripping with dirty water from the street and my berks are possibly destroyed forever. ( How i love thee my berks, let me count the ways) After an hour of wonderous hot-watered bathing. I caught the dreaded sniffles again.
And that concludes my rain drenched entry. I'm trying to be poetic here but sadly it failed.
Ngayon ko lang na laman. Ang dami ko pa lang assignments, hahahahahahahaha. |
